Located in downtown Truckee on South River Street. This is an intimate, micro winery with a homestead onsite. We have been producing our award winning wines here since 1996, and now are showcasing this space for guests.
Due to the nature of this unique location, reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome upon availability. We offer outdoor garden seating on our patios with firepits and blankets, or limited indoor seating amongst the barrels.

Truckee River Winery Tasting Options
Perfect for those in a hurry! This quick, 3-varietal flight showcases one wine from each of our brands: a varietal from our Barn Series, one from Truckee River Winery, and one from 174 Winery. It includes one white, one rosé, and one red.
This flight features four light wines from our infamous Barn Series: one white, two rosés, and one red. Great for enjoying lighter styles at an affordable price.
Please allow a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy.
This is our definitive, seasonal tasting. Explore five of our signature varietals including new releases, award winners, and holiday pairings. We'll guide you through the winemaking process as you enjoy the wines in the cellar or on the patio.

Truckee River Winery Experiences
Winter doesn't stop us from providing a one-of-a-kind picnic experience! Enjoy a memorable elevated picnic outside in the snow at Truckee River Winery, within a heated and insulated 12x12 bubble yurt. 6 varietal curated tasting, cheese and charcuterie board and a tour with one of Truckee River Winery's winemakers. Guests may take home a souvenir wine glass to remember their experience.
*Reservations must be made more than 24 hours in advance.
For the Fall/Winter season, this is limited to 2-8 people per bubble yurt outside.
Bubble yurts can not accommodate more than 8 people. Wed-Sat for 3 hours.
Elevate your Stag or Doe Party with Tahoe Elevated Picnics. Enjoy a semi or private area of Truckee River Winery completed with a head chair placed for the person of honor, sashes and a souvenir wine glass for each individual. Truckee River Winery will have a complimentary welcome bottle ready to be served at arrival. Group pictures taken by a staff member provided on group's own phones (maximum 20 minutes time).

Coming Soon: A New Garden Oasis for 174 Winery
We are thrilled to announce that 174 Winery is expanding! We are currently putting the finishing touches on our brand-new, dedicated tasting room located just down the road at 12719 Colfax Hwy, Suite 3.
This intimate new space is designed for relaxation, featuring a charming outdoor garden perfect for enjoying the fresh Sierra Foothills air. Unlike our production farm, this new location will offer consistent hours, opening Thursday through Sunday very soon.
Current Status: While we prepare this beautiful new space, our original farm property remains the home of our production and homestead. Stay tuned for our official opening date!

2021 Dutch Flat Cabernet Sauvignon
From the historic, high-altitude vineyards of Dutch Flat. Savor the bold character of this Sierra Foothills Cabernet Sauvignon.
